cluster of moments : SINGING WITH A FISH (3)

Because we (the fish & I) love singing, we sing.

THE HOUSE OF MIST

[Room 1]

A photograph was stuck to the wall
displayed a rumple face of a girl
with dripping tears.

Cries of sorrow already
dispersed with the haze.

[Room 2]

Leaders are signing treaties
initiating peace for the human race
through a feast
and jubilant serenade.

[Room 3]

A poet is carving elegies
to be pasted on the tombstones
of the deceased.
And the perching birds
will be reciting the prayers.

[Room 4]

Roses are blooming.
Fragrance flooded the room
while the limply moths
were drowning.

Puan,

Puan hendaklah terus menulis. Bagi saya menulis sangat perit, tetepi puas. Lagi pun, tidak berdosa menulis jika kita menulis berpandukan Surah Al Syuara Ayat 224,225,226 dan 227. (+ Ayat-ayat lain juga).
Jazakallahu khairan kathira.

I like the way you've split this poem into "rooms," each with a related but solitary image.

I'm pleased with your note and thank you. It is inspiring.

I like 3 and 4. A small suggestion - would you consider tightening the end of 3? e.g.

Perching birds
will recite the prayers

I also wonder if you need "of the deceased", as tombstones imply death anyway.

Great image though of the praying birds!
